ROBERT AMISANO – NORTH QLD

ramisano@qnfsales.com.au

Robert Amisano has been a newsagent for over 20 years.  He has built his business from a small 105 sqm shop into a massive 500 sqm newsagency which also now incorporates a Post Office and a Gift shop located in a Woolworth’s anchored shopping centre.

His retail knowledge and general business experience has developed over time and as a result of his positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the importance of the future growth of his family newsagency he is now able to spread his time between the general running of his business and other related enterprises.

The newsagency industry is very important to Robert and this is demonstrated in his involvement as the Queensland Newsagents Federation Townsville Branch Chairman, an elected position held for the past 14 years.  Robert has also recently taken on the position as Queensland Newsagents Federation Northern Queensland Field Officer which requires him to personally visit newsagents throughout this vast area.

Robert has broadened his business experience over the past 12 years as Post Master for the Vincent Village Newsagency/Post Office.

Robert joined QNF Sales as a sales consultant over two years ago.  As he is a practicing newsagent potential buyers are given the opportunity to visit his newsagency in Townsville to witness a newsagency in full operation and see how this type of business functions.

Since commencing with QNF Sales Robert has been able to increase their market share in Queensland country areas.  QNF Sales is considered the leading brokerage firm for country agents.

In his spare time Robert enjoys mountain biking, this keeps him mentally and physically fit enough to allow him to remain on top of his busy schedule.
